Legend of the Konoha Nine

As aqua enters the chunin exams stadium he notices that Oroike is the only one absent and he begins to get slightly worried. "He wouldn't get himself disqualified by being late would he?" Ask Aqua to himself as the proctor began to speak.
"Here are the rules to the exams. When I say begin the two competors fight until one of three conditions are met. Condition one is that the opponent is knocked unconcious. Condition two is that I call the fight. Condition three is that your opponent is killed. These fights are one on one and tournaments based. Any interference for either side by an outside ninja will result in disqualification. Have I made myself clear?" Said the proctor. Everyone nodded and he waited for the hokage to speak.
"Today is the first round of the finaly part of the internation chunin exams. These are the best and brightest of each of the villages genin and they are here to put on a show to prove to the decision making council that they are worthy of being granted the honor of being promoted to chunin" Says Minato as he gestures to the proctor to start the first match.
"Will Oroike Senju and Neji Hyuuga please stay down in the arena while the rest of the contestents go and wait in the stands in your designated area with the other genin in attendance."

Nejji hyuuga walks down to the field ready to fight."And where is Oroike?" the prospector says,"he has only thirty seconds to get in the arena ready to fight." Twenty seconds of silence pass,"Get out there and enjoy your youth!",Gai says in the audience."Only five seconds left", The announcer says,"4,3,2..." A mirror suddenly appears in the arena,"One!" Oroike walks out of the mirror as the crowd goes wild."Hope im not late", Oroike says,"I had to have a change of cloths."Thatta boy!",Gai screams,"Youth!" Oroike smirks than readies his stance.

Oroike and Neji begin a fierce taijutsu battle and it's obvious that they are completely even in taijutsu. After a few grueling minutes of neither being able to land a hit on another they both backflip away from one another. Oroike takes advantage of himself landing near the small lake and goes through a few handsigns. "Water and Ice Combination Techinique: 100 Spikes Jutsu" says oroike as he lowers his hand in the water, when his hand comes out it has a spinning ball of water the sizes of his head with many ice spikes on the surface. He throws the spinning spiked ball at neji who, after realising the situation he's in screams "Rotation" and deflects the ball away. "That's good neji but that is just the begginning of my aresenal."

Neji, being angered at the taunt, doesn't notice Oroike lift his arms up until oroike says "Wind Style: Pressure Damage" Which causes neji to be shot at the wall opposite of Oroike with blistering force. Neji impacts the wall leaving cracks all the way up the side, he stands up and prepares to fight. Oroike then begins to speak as neji stands up "This is what happens to those who try harming my friends, this is for Hinata" Says oroike as he goes through a long string on 32 hand signs and yells "Ice Release: Black Dragon Outburst!" Just as Oroike finishes his long string of handsigns a large black dragon with fiery red eyes appears from the water and launches itself towards neji, roaring the entire way. Just as the dragon is closing in neji does his rotation again, the dragons strains against the defense but the rotation ultimately holds up and an exhausted neji emerges.

Neji get's back up and activates his nyakugan and sees Oroike swinging his spike from behind, just as the scythe is about to hit him he uses his rotation. Neji then looks in awe as he sees that oroike's scythe is stuck in the rotation and oroike uses the momentum to swing neji into a the middle of the field. Neji stands up and sees that oroike is nowhere to be found as an ice mirror materializes behind him in a specific spot. Oroike emerges from the mirror and stabs a senbon into neji's neck rendering him unconcious. Oroike then turns to the crowd. "When I first became a genin I actually fought a rogue Hyuuga ninja and I noticed something peculiar, there was a specific spot behind him in which he didn't see my attacks coming, this lead me to believe that the hyuuga do not have perfect 360 degree vision as they claim. And my victory against neji today using the exact same blind spot further solidifies my point." He finishes as he goes back up into the stands and the proctor shouts "Winner, Oroike Senju!"

Next up Aqua and Dosu, they both walk down to the arena than ready their stances. Start!, yells the announcer. Dosu Sppears behing Aqua throwing him aginst the wall, he than grabs Aquas neck holding him against the wall."Remember last time we met? I still thank you for letting me go but thats was a bad mistake on your part", he said. Aquas head falls as black strips begin to cover his body, Aqua than looks up,"No it was your mistake coming back for another fight" Aqua than knees Dosu in the stomach causing him to let go of aquas neck, The strips had covered aquas entire body. Dosu gets up than thrusts a few punches hitting Aqua,"Guess I dont have enought chakra to liquify"Aqua thought as he once again hit the wall,"Guess I will have to rely on my taijutsu" Aqua disappears than reappears in front of dosu, he than kicks dous in the air than once again appears behind dosu flying in the air. After two swift kicks " How Youthful!" is heard from the stands as Aquas body aches all over, Dosu hits the ground followed up by Aqua who isnt able to move. Aqua crashes into Dosu knocking him out. A ninja picks him up than holds his arm in the air,"Winner Aqua Hoshigaki",He said. Aqua than falls over unconciouse.

The next fights go rather calmly with shikamaru forfeiting to temari and kankuro giving up as he is announced. "The next fight is gaara vs Oroike, please enter the arena" says the proctor

The two genin take there places in the arena. Garra stands still as oroike readies his stance."Go"The announcer yells. Garra calmly stands still as oroike attempts to make contact with a punch only to be stopped by floating sand. Oroike is than knocked back by the same sand that stopped his punch. Oroike hits the wall than the ground, he looks up than stands on his feet,"Heh your strong",he says as garra once again stands still. Oroike creats multiple senbon out of water throwning them at garra only to be caught by his sand."humph this guy is unbeatable", oroike thought.

Oroike keeps throwing senbon and other assorted weapons at gaara only to have everyone of them deflected. Gaara then get's a demented grin on his face and goes on the offensive. Gaara hurls sand at oroike only for him to barely dodge, each one coming closer than the last one. Oroike attempts to attack gaara with a wind style pressure damage, and it manages to throw gaara against the wall and crack his sand armor slightly. Gaara stands up looking nearl insane and begins to attack harder at oroike. After a few minutes he manages to get oroikes leg with sand and uses it to whip him against walls and against the ground. After a few minutes the assault ends and oroike is barely able to stand, blood seeping from his mouth and ears. As oroike attemps to run at gaara he is stopped as sand begins to creep up his leg and goes all the way up to his neck.

Eternal Darkness!, Oroike screams as the battle arena goes black. Blood is pouring from his face, he looks up with three rings in his eyes. The sand coffin breaks open as oroike slowly walks over to garra. Garra attempts to throw sand shuriken but is pushed away by oroikes heavenly push. garra begins to back up than flees the battle"This is so un-youthful, i cant see" Might guy says." Oh i hope hes ok, i just dont know what i would do without him" Hinata says. suddenly the arena is visible than BAM! part of the Konoha gate breaks down due to a fight between the nine tails and a Giant 3 headed snake. "I will go after oroike,you protect the vilage", Hinata says to Might guy."Alright", Might Guy says crying to to his admiration of hinatas youth.

Oroike is chasing after gaara with his rinnegan slowing fading along with his power. When we he finally catches up to gaara he sees him partially transformed with a giant arm covered in sand and part of his chest. He tries to attack gaara but is knocked away as if he is nothing.

Hinatacathes up to the both of them, she heads over to oroike and heals him until he is conciouse but garra attacks hinata the same as oroike. Suddenly oroike hears a boom from behind garra, as Aqua fell infront of him"Hang in there i will be back",Says aqua at he looks at garra."Why are you like this?" "Because I was born a monster" garra replies as huge mounds of sand form around him than propelling him in the air. "Within me is the Shukaku, the one tailed beast!", Garra says than fall unconciouse. Aqua pulls out a scroll than bites his thumb,"Summoning Jutsu!". A giant hawk appears, than Aqua jumps on his back."How much stronger is he going to get?", thought oroike as he crawled to lay next to hinata. The Shukaku threw many sand kunai only to be reflected by the hawks Iron kunai coming from its mouth,"Iron release huh", The shukaku says. "Weve got to wake garra up fir the jutsu to stop",Says the hawk. "Get me up close than I will do the rest" Aqua replies. The hawk flys closer and close to the shukaku. Both the hawk and shukaku grab eachother, the hawk with its metal claws and the shukaku wih its sand claws. Aqua jumps off the hawk only to be caught by the shukakus sand. Aqua struggles to get out of the sand but it doesnt work, he slowl fights his way to garra than headbutts him. Suddenly the sand lets both ninja go garra and aqua falling face to face."Why?"Aqua asked."Because I carry the burden of the Shukaku", Garra says,"Ive always been alone""Im the only known survivor of my clan", says aqua,"I know the pain that solitude brings but it can be over come" Garra and Aqua both hit the ground.

Aqua and gaara both hit the ground and aqua stands up and walks over to him. "It's hard being alone isn't it? People not even giving you the time of day. Really the only difference between me and you is that I found people to care for that care for me as well" Say Aqua as he gestures towards Hinata And Oroike. "But i'm just a monster, who's only reason to live is too prove his existence." Says gaara trying to back away from Aqua.
"Gaara i'm sure that you have people that care for you too, you just have to open your eyes and look." Says aqua just as kankuro and temari land next to gaara. "Leave him alone!" screams temari and she get's between aqua and gaara. Gaara looks at temari and get's a shocked look in his eyes as if he's just realised something. "No it's okay brother and sister, I think he may have knocked some sense into me today. I want to tell the both of you that I am sorry for everything I have done to you two in the past." Says gaara as the two sand ninja's carry him away. Aqua turns around to see Hinata laying next to an unconcious Oroike with a sunset behind them.

Hinata grabs Oroike than her and Aqua both head back to the village for some well deserved rest, but as they approach the village they see smoke and fire. The nintails and snakes knocked eachother unconciouse. There was a forrest that formed on a building being guarded by four ninja with sound headbands. Aqua approaches them as hinata leaves to get her and oroike some rest. "Whats going on here?", Aqua asks." Nothing were just ensuring that Orochimaru and Your elvoed forth hokage get a clean one on one fight.","says the fat ninja. Aqua clenches his fist than attempts to run through the barrier only to be thrown half way across the village knocked unconciouse. Waking up he is in a hospital bed in the same room as the fourth hokage, they both looked at eachother,"what happend to you?", minato asked. "its a long story" replied Aqua," and you?"

"Im here to thank you for your service to the village, as for a reward since I know how well your team works together I've promoted all three of you to chunin" says minato with a smile. "How is Oroike?" asks Aqua. "Well he hasn't woken up yet but he isn't in a coma. He has three broken ribs along with a broken arm with some deep gashes in his torso. The young hyuuga girl hasn't left his side since he got here. She must really care about him" Says minato

I see, Says Aqua as he lays his head back down,"I cant believe we made it". Aqua and the Fourth fall unconciouse once again.

aqua wakes up a couple days later and is dismissed from the hospital. When he asked the nurse about Oroike she said the he had woken up the day before but is resting now and that the hyuuga girl is visiting if he would like to as well

Aqua nods his head than picks himself up from the bed. The nurse helps him over to Oroikes room."We did it." Aqua says as he waks into oroikes room,"We made chunin" both Hinata and oroike gain smiles on their faces,"Yay!" They all cheer as Aqua sets down.

They all spend the day resting up until Itachi enters the room with no emotion on his face. "Oroike your being chosen to pick a squad to retrieve sasuke Uchiha who has fled the village." Tell the hokage I choose team 7 along with haku, Neji, and shikamaru. And for them to meet me at the gate in an hour"

"Sasuke?"Aqua says,"What happend to Sasuke?" Aqua shakes Itachi. "its a matter of Uchiha only" Itachi says. "Than why arent you coming with us?" asks Oroike. "My feelings would just get in the way, go to the gate and meet up with the rest of your group" Itachi disappears.

Oroike shunshins and he along with Hinata stand waiting for the group. Them being nearly 30 mins early decide to make conversation. "Hinata I'm scared" says Oroike with his head down. "Why are you scared Oroike, it's just a retrieval mission." replies Hinata. "It's just that this is my first time leading a mission and if something were to happen to you I could never forgive myself" says Oroike

Hinata Blushes than faints into the arms of oroike,"I will give her some time to rest while the other get here.", he says.Thirty minuts layter all of the ninja are gathred around,"Ok this is how its going to happen!"Oroike says as he points at a paper with everyones name on it. This is how our formation will look, "Everyone agrees. Ok make sure you are all ready with your equitment" Eeryone checks their bags,"ok, lets do this" Oroike says as the nija gather into their formation.

The group takes off in the direction sasuke was headed. After about 30 minutes of travel they reach a group of 4 ninja with a barrel labeled uchiha with sasuke apparently inside. As they went to stop them chouji came up behind the group stating that he wanted to help. When they stop the man named jirobo hands the barrel to the ninja with four arms and and says he's going to keep the group occupied. "Let me stay and fight him" says chouji as he get's into a fighting stance. The group nods and takes off after sasuke again. After so long of following him the group catches up with the sound ninja this time in an area of dense woodland when the ninja with four arm's stops. He hands the barrel to the last guy of the group and they continue on. "I'll give them enough time to get away" says the sound ninja. At this Neji steps forward "I will take care of him, continue on and get sasuke, and cousin, be carefull" He says the last part to hinata who nods as the group continues on. Near the end of the forest the group stops and they are confronted by the girl with a flute in her hands. Shikamaru calmly steps forward and calmly says "I guess i'm up guys, don't wait on me too long, just go ahead and get sasuke, how troublesome"

The group then continues ahead with haku trailing near the back. The last ninja comes into view and beside him is an empty barrel with sasuke nowhere to be seen. "You must have thought we abducted him, that's not true, he came willingly, the barrel was just for his cover. But with me here you'll never have time to stop him." says the last ninja dropping into a fighting stance. Haku steps forward. "You three take care of this as the team 7 that beat me within an inch of my life in wave country." Says haku as team 7 dashes toward where sasuke is.

After much more travelling they are stop by yet another ninja, but this one was not with the four that was with sasuke. This ninja calmly steps forward and begins to speak. "I was sent by lord orochimaru to ensure that you didn't succeed in capturing sasuke, this is where you stop." At this Aqua steps forward "I'll stay back Oroike, you'll need hinata's to help incompacitate sasuke without killing him so that we can return him safely to the village for itachi sensei." says aqua as hinata and Oroike go to chase down sasuke.

After much travelling they get to the valley of end at the base of the two statues and see sasuke uchiha calmly standing there. "It is time to finally show this village the supremacy of the uchiha over the senju. I thought, what better of a place to fight then where the rivalry was supposed to end." Screamed sasuke at oroike. "and just to make sure your little girlfriend sees you killed by my hand....." finishes sasuke as he uses an earth jutsu binding hinata to the wall of the cliff. "It's okay hinata i'll beat this guy then get you out of there!" yells oroike as he get's into a stance across from sasuke.

Aqua readies his stance,"why are you doing this?" he asked."because orochimaru took me in" kimmimaru says as bones grow out of his hands,"when I had no place to go and no one to care for me!" kimmimaru ran at aqua attempting to hit aqua. Aqua dodges most attacks but is cut on his cheek by a bone," he doesn't care for you",says aqua,"he only wanted you for your power". aqua than runs at kimmimaru attempting to slice him with his sword. " if only you knew the pain that solitude brings", kimmimaru says.

They stand opposite to eachother with sasuke under the statue of Madara and Oroike under the statue of hashirama. Sasuke forms a chidori in one hand while Oroike forms at rahyouton in his hand.  They run at eachother full speed and clash in the middle. The two powerful jutsu fight for dominance resulting in a large explosion sending Oroike back struggling to stand while sasuke stands tall. Just as Oroike begins to stand up he feels a tremendous pain in his left shoulder and looks down to see sasukes hand sticking out. "Too slow" says sasuke with a smirk.

"oroike!" hinata screams as she struggles to break out of the jutsu

Oroike falls to his knees feeling the life drain out of him. The pain is becoming unbearable and it's taking all the power her has left to just keep breathing. Just as he is about to let the darkness take him he hears hinata's scream. Just as he hears her scream his name a great power surges through his body and he feels himself have the strength to stand up. As he stands up he looks down to see that his would has healed and he looks into the unchiha's sharingan eyes with his own dark purple eyes with three rings in them. "What are you?" says sasuke backing away in fear. "I'm the one who's going to bring you back home, even if it takes me breaking every bone in your body." Says oroike as him and sasuke engage in another taijutsu battle.

After a few minutes it is obvious that oroike is now winning this battle as sasuke was getting hit many times. "When he get so fast, not even my sharingan can keep up with him at this speed" says sasuke as he prepares to launch another punch at oroike. Just as he does oroike extends his arm's towards the uchiha and quietly says "Shinra Tensei" and launches the uchiha embedding him in the side of the mountain. He then begins to run up the side of the mountain with chakra in his feet. As he passes by hinata on his way to sasuke they briefly lock eyes long enough for her to see his transformed ones. She gasps in surprise and just as quickly he is up at the uchiha.

He throws sasuke off the mountain and begins to knock him higher up with a series of punches and kicks. As he get's sasuke high enough he disappears and reappears behind sasuke laying the palms of both his hands on his back and yells "Gravity Barrage, Shinra Tensei" and sasuke is launched a great speed back down into the water. Moments later oroike lands on the surface of the water and waits for sasuke to surface. Sasuke get's up to the surface with his curse seal activated and his sharingan having achieved the third stage. Oroike tries to attack him again but this time the uchiha seems to be able to keep up with his movements.

Oroike sees sasuke go into handsigns and takes up the side of the mountain with sasuke following beside him. Sasuke Shouts "Fire style: Phoenix fireball jutsu!" and begins launches fireballs as oroike which he dodges. Oroike tries to throw some ice senbon at sasuke but he deflects them with a kunai. In the blink of an eye sasuke is behind oroike and delivers a hard kick to his head launching him off the side of the mountain. He punches oroike a few times in mid air turning him upside down and wraps his arms and legs around him launching them both down the mountain, oroike head first. Just as oroike hits the ground sasuke yells "Falcons Drop" and sasuke get's up leaving oroike on the ground and his neck bent at a disgusting angle.
