Legend of the Konoha Nine

I don believe that would be smart on our side considering we use the water element, Aqua said, I believe we should so a defensive formation, but its up to you all.

"Okay, there is a river nearby, let's head that way and put up a defensive front, any suggestions hinata-san, we are a team afterall"

Hinato looked up,"Who, me?", She said,"Well i have this technique that's considered a great defense by my clan, its called rotation." "Great", Oroike said as the all started toward the river. "its quiet, to quiet.", Aqua said. Suddenly Itachi uchiha appeared in front of them, "so even though only two of you will pass",he said,"You still work together. It will fail you in the long run" Itachi disappeared than reappeared behind the squad kicking Aqua into the river, he than took his left hand and punched oroike into a tree and hinata in the air with his right. Oroike stood up and weaved a hand sign,"Eternal darkness!" he yelled. Itachi could no longer see. hinata fell from the sky on her feet,"Two palms!" She yelled as she hit itachi with her two fingers out." Four,Eight,Sixteen,thirty two,64 palms!" Itachi fell backwards into the river where he was caught by water that quickly surrounded him, The head of Aqua formed in the water as the bells floated towards the surface.Aqua's hand appeared out of the water grabbing the bells,"We win", he said. Suddenly the voice of itachi was very loud,"Try it again, but for real this time." The group all appeared in the river and Itachi was standing two feet from the bank of the river. "IT was all a genjutsu", the group thought.

"Everyone get back!" said oroike as he started channeling chakra into the river freezing itachi into it. Itachi put chakra into his feet and jumped in front of orioke, his sharingan spinning wildly. Itachi threw some slow punches at oroike, with him struggling to dodge them, itachi slips into oroike's defense and delivers a hard kick to the side of his head, knocking him next to the group out cold.

Hinata looks over at the unconscious Oroike,"You'll pay for that",she said,"Byakugan!" Hinata suddenly wasnt acting normal, she was mad. Itachi gave her a smerk than appeared behin her. Using her byakugan she saw his movements, she twisted than gave him a gentle fist style uppercut. Itachi threw 4 kunai than did a backflip while in the air. "Rotation!",Hinata screamed as she turned in rapid circles using her palms to push away kunai.Hinata fell to the ground panting, her byakugan faded. Itachi walked up to her,"its over", he said. Aqua reared back his fist,sparks were pertruding from his fist, "leave her alone!", he yelled.

Itachi walks over to aqua calmly, radiating killer intent. Aqua attempts to punch itachi but his sharingan predicted his movements and he dodges jumping backwards and throwing kunai. Aqua turns into water and turns back into his normal form. He jumps at itachi, him and hinata attacking him at the same time as orioke begins to stand up slowly, his world spinning in front of his eyes.

Itachi gave a quick laugh ans he noticed everyone was knocked out. Oroike lumbers over to itachi and falls behind him. Itachi looks behind himself noticing that Oroike had gotten the bells from him. Itachi falls backwards on the ground,"This is going o be a strange squad". He said," I wonder if Aqua noticed that he channled his chakra into lightning?" HE than closed his eyes and took a nap to wait for the others to awaken.

Oroike wakes up some time later and sees that everyone else is awake. "Aghh I think I have a concussion" he asks holding his head, his ears still ringing "Did we at least pass?"
Itachi looks over at his team calmly and says "Yes all of you pass"
"Oh well I think I'll go to sleep now" Says Oroike as he faints again.

The team completes many missions with eachother in a course of one month. The mission ranking system is explained to them by Minato, the Fourth Hokage, The group becomes impatient with the d rank missions they are given."catching run away cats and dogs aren't our thing",Aqua tells Minato,"Could we do a C rank mission?", he asked. "No", Minato said loudly," You all aren't experienced enough yet." Itachi steps in,"They are getting boring", he says,"could you please give us a C ranked mission?" Itachis Sharingan flashes on and off.

Minato sighs "Okay this is the simplest C-rank I can find, you are to escort the bridge builder tazuna to his home in the land of waves. Protecting from bandits and thieves if anything at all." the team nods and Minaro continues
"Please send the client in"
The old man walks in carrying a jug of same in his hand
"I paid for ninjas not 3 children and one actual ninja, they will just hinder the adult here"

Itachi flashes his sharingan once more. "But oh well", the builder says,"they look strong enough to take on a few thief's or a bandit or two." The ninja and their client walk out the door than out of the gates of the leaf. "the waterfall village south of here" Tazuna says,"ITs a good walk and a short boat ride away" The ninja nod in approval. Around three hours into their trip two rouge ninja corner them and itachi has went to scout ahead. "Its the ninja we were talking about oroike" Aqua says. "They wield both dojutsu",oroike says. "Defensive formation!", Hinata screams.The group gathers around the Builder in their best defensive formation.

They get in a defensive position around the bridge builder. "Okay guys get for an attack"
All the sudden from the Uchiha they hear "Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu" forming a massive fireball incoming the group.
"Get behind me!" Oroike says while flashing through a string of hand signs "Water Style: Water Encampment Wall!" He screams as a jet of water shoots out of his mouth and forms a wall neutralizing the fireball.

Aqua jumps up high in the air and weaves a hand sign,"water senbon!", He screams forming multiple senbon in the air while at the same time throwing them. The hyuuga dodges all of them but the Uchiha was hit in his left knee due to being slowed down by his jutsu. "Byakugan!" Hinata and the other Rouge Hyuuga scream.

Hinata the jumps to attack the hyuuga while aqua attacks the Uchiha. While the two hyuugas are fighting Oroike sneaks into the rogue ninjas blind spot and starts weaving hand seals. Just as the rogue ninja goes for the killing blow Oroike screams "Water Style: Water Prison Jutsu" and traps the hyuuga inside. " are you okay Hinata" asks Oroike concerned
"yes I'm fine now Oroike" Hinata answers, a scream of pain is heard from aqua's direction.

The scream was Aqua's, both of his eyes were cut blinding him. Aqua Grabs his face in terror screaming at the top of his lungs, he than quenches his fists and for some reason lightning is slowly released. He hits the ground in pain unintentially causing lightning to radiate around him shocking the uchiha to death."Ahh my eyes!" Aqua screams as blood hit the ground.

"Oh god!" Screamed Oroike as he rushes over to Aqua, taking his shirt off and ripping a large strip out of it to cover aqua's eyes and stop the bleeding.
"Hinata go find Itachi-sensei!" Says Oroike in a worried tone then turns to Aqua "It's gonna be alright man, itachi will be here soon"

The Rouge hyuuga watched as the Uchiha Rouge was shocked to death by a lowly genin. He was released from the water prison only to watch the two other genin rush to save their friend, he fled from battle in hopes of prolonging his own life. as he rand away oroike went into a rage, a single ice shard formed in his hand out of nowhere. He had used the moister from the air to create it. Oroike stood up, turned around, than threw the shard at the fleeing hyuuga. The hyuuga stopped to rest only to have the shard impale his back leaving him paralyzed."Thats what you get for messing with my friends!"Oroike screamed as he bent back down to help Aqua.

"Aqua your going to be okay, we just need to wait for hinata to return with itachi, just hang on a bit longer" Said Oroike trying to calm Aqua and keep him from going into shock.
Soon later Itachi returned with Hinata.
"Itachi-sensei you have to do something!" Screamed Oroike worried for his first friend
"Don't worry Oroike I will, just step aside and go somewhere else for a few hours." said Itachi as he drug the Uchiha corpse next to Aqua.
"Okay sensei, i'll go set up a camp nearby, come help me please hinata" Said Oroike
"Okay Oroike,let's find a nice spot" Says Hinata
They spend a few hours setting up camp and getting a fire started. Three tents are set up and some rabbits are roasting over the fire. Itachi has yet to return. Oroike stands up and faces hinata, his eyes glazed over. "Hinata I feel really dizzy...." Says Oroike as he collapses due to chakra exhaustion.

"can you hear me?",Itachi said. "of course",Aqua says in agony,"my ears weren't cut off were they!" "calm down I will fix you up good as new, although you wont be able to use those eyes anymore",Itachi said. "what does that mean?", Aqua asked. "it means sit still and stay calm",Itachi said. *One hour later* "Wow!",Aqua said,"I can see perfectly" "remember you now posses the sharingan",Itachi says,"only activate it when your friends need help because it uses up chakra rather quickly." "Will do" Aqua said happily. Both ninja walked to the camp that their comrads had prepared.

Hinata is sitting next to Oroike on the ground watching him sleep as she waits for the other two to come up. "He looks so peaceful when he is asleep, almost as if he has no worries in the world" Hinata thinks to herself. She get's up and rotates the food slightly and sits back down to watch over Oroike.

Itachi and aqua arrive at the camp. "wake up!",hinata says as she nudges oroike.oroike wakes up and looks at aqua,"I thought you lost your eyes?",he asked.aqua looks up at Itachi, Itachi nods.Aqua activates his sharingan, his eyes turn red and two dots swirl around in each eye."wow",oroike says in amazement," you took that uchihas eyes"."yep", aqua nods thrums his eyes back to normal.

They rest that night and continue on there journey the next day, it being completely uneventful. They then get on a boat and go to tazuna's house to eat and rest up for the next day. When they get up the next day they go out to the bridge to see an eerie mist covering it and most of the workers unconcious, with oroike still at the house after overexerting himself training the night before.
"defensive formation" yells itachi.

Two ninja appear further up the bridge."who are you?" Itachi asked. The two ninja stepped into light. " oh I see",itachi said,"zabuza mumochi, your an S ranked criminal" zabuza walked closer,"yes",he said,"and your killer,Haku take the brats I've got this one. Haku the woman in an Anbu mask walked closer than threw aqua into the center of the bridge. As they got up they noticed they were surrounded by mirrors of ice.itachi had his hands full and hinata couldn't break the mirrors she could only watch in terror or help Itachi. Haku began throwing ice senbon from every mirror hitting Aqua everywhere but his vitals, after an our of being hit and failed attempts to break out Aqua collapsed. "and to finish him"Haku said as one mirror threw 6 ice senbon at Aqua.

Oroike woke up that day in a cold sweat "I gotta get to the bridge, I have a bad feeling" After sprinting all the way to the bridge he get's there just in timed to see the masked ninja ready to finish Aqua off. He feels a deep pressure in his eyes and he runs in and takes the blow that was meant for Aqua.

Aqua looks up in terror as he watches oroike get hit,"I never asked you to save me,he said,"why"he looked into oroikes eyes noticing multiple rings in each.
